Deborah Lippmann is one of the top celebrity manicurists and she never fails to release trendy, yet classic, shades. Here is a look at some celebs sporting her most recent shades:
Deborah Lippmann prettied up Anne Hathaway’s nails with Naked from the Spring 2011 release. A nude color was a great choice due to the amount of outfit changes she had. Her manicure stayed consistently coordinated throughout the night:
Anne actually started out the evening on the red carpet with this Vintage Valentino Couture gown and a Lippmann Kiss From A Rose manicure to match. I actually did not mind the matching lipstick and nails. At least she skipped a red clutch, eh?
Her manicure was changed to Naked for her first stage gown, which is Givenchy from the Fall 2009 Couture Collection. The slightly warm tones of Naked play well with the dress and I think she looks stunning head to toe.
While her Oscar de La Renta Fall 2011 Collection fringe dress was not my favorite, I was very happy to see that Naked was still present on her nails. It is perfect for letting a gown shine. Clean and simple.
This Atelier Versace gown was hands down my favorite for the evening. I was having a tough time paying attention to the awards, but this gown definitely caught my attention. I love the color, and she just looks so elegant. Again, Naked assists in this elegance. I know I would have had an issue if she were sporting Lippmann Razzle Dazzle instead.
Her next four changes were a bit less classic, but her manicure stayed Naked and stayed elegant:
I actually love this Lanvin tuxedo Anne wore for the cross-dressing sketch. Look at those shoes! Brian Atwood, you are a GENIUS! Also, side note, why was James in a satin dress and gloves that looked like they were from David’s Bridal? I did not find it funny, just off-putting. If you are going to cross dress, be fabulous!
The electrifying effect this Armani Prive Spring 2011 Collection gown had was simply stunning. I love that everything else was kept simple, and while watching, I took a moment to commend Lippmann for what was turning out to be the perfect manicure choice. The only thing I would have changed was that berry lip. I think a nude lip would have been perfect.
I will not say much about this Vivienne Westwood gown because I am totally apathetic to it. This may be due to my total hatred of her hair, though. Total bridesmaid, 15 minute Great Clips style in my opinion.
This Tom Ford dress tied for first place in my favorites. She looked absolutely stunning! Her hair, nails, makeup, everything was perfect. Way to end on a high note (fashion-wise, at least).
Naked, along with it Spring release partner Glitter in the Air, is available for purchase now at deborahlippmann.com
The next celeb rocking a Lippmann manicure is Lady Gaga for her Grammy Awards performance:
Lady Gaga’s yellow manicure was the only thing I liked about her Grammy’s getup, but I do not think the embryonic top and skirt were supposed to be particularly fashionable. Anyway, this yellow shade is Deborah Lippmann Yellow Brick Road, which is a sheer yellow shade for Summer 2011.
Yellow Brick Road is available April 1, 2011 on deborahlippmann.com
